Fundraising and Giving
All are welcome at the Aspen Chapel. As an interfaith, non-denominational place of worship and spiritual programming, there are no insiders and no outsiders. We do not have membership fees, tithing or other formal requirements. However, we do rely on charitable donations to support the functioning of the Chapel: to maintain our programs of giving, our building and retain our incredible staff. All donations are tax deductible. Donations can be mailed to Aspen Chapel, 0077 Meadowood Dr., Aspen CO 81611

Endowment Funds
The Aspen Chapel has a small endowment, which we will grow to more actively support several key areas. Fund are professionally managed by Obermeyer Asset Management, and overseen by our Endowment Committee.
Music Endowment
The music program at the Aspen Chapel is a key component of our mission. A Music Endowment has been established to support our Music Director position and special music programming.
A special component of the Music Endowment is the Bach Endowment to support Bach Aria and Cantata programming:
Total Goal: $500,000.
Chaplain Endowment
Our chaplain leads the worship programming, provides special services for memorials, baptisms and weddings, and provides counseling services. A Chaplain Endowment has been established to both honor Gregg Anderson, Chaplin since 1984 and to insure long-term stability for this key leadership role. Goal $1,000,000.
Unrestricted Endowment
We will grow our current endowment to support a variety of needs, such as annual maintenance and capital replacements. Goal: $1,000,000.
Ron James Endowment
An endowment has been established in memory of Ron James, who was adjunct chaplain at the Aspen Chapel from 1992-1996. This fund will support special speakers to the Aspen Chapel. Goal: $500,000.
Other ways to support the Aspen Chapel include purchasing art from our Gallery, making special gifts to support our Youth Programs, shopping at our Book Nook, or attending programs given by Wisdom School or Spiritual Paths.
Our current operating budget is under $400,000 per year, but we expect this to increase in the coming year with long-awaited updates to our salary schedules for our professional staff.
