The Holiday Baskets Program is sponsored by the Aspen Interfaith Association and chaired by Christ Episcopal Church. The potential recipients live in the Aspen to Basalt area and are referred to Holiday Baskets by local social service agencies. Area churches, synagogues, schools and many other local groups participate in the provisioning, assembling and distribution of the baskets. It is a true comunity effort and has been for nearly 30 years!

The need is especially great this year with many people out of work or working less hours. We are hoping to supply 225 families with gifts and food vouchers.

You can participate in this totally volunteer effort in the following ways:

DONATE

Make a tax deductible contribution to Holiday Baskets, c/o Christ Episcopal Church, 536 North Street, Aspen, CO 81611.  The program costs about $20,000 which covers the food vouchers, and gifts for unadopted families.  Any size donation is greatly appreciated.

ADOPT

Provide and wrap gift(s) ($25-$50) for each member of a specific family in need

Single Gifts

Bring new, unwrapped gifts to Aspen Chapel Dec. 7-11

Volunteer

Help wrap, sort, shop, etc. at Christ Episcopal Church Dec. 8-11
