Tuesday School begins on November 29, 2011 for all children in grades K-12. We begin right after school and end at 4:45. We will meet each Tuesday of the school year, excluding December and March breaks, with the ending date of April 24th, with our annual student recognition day, which is a culmination of the year’s lessons and a chance to recognize all the students who participated. Please email Elaine for more information. Parents and perspective students are invited to attend a Tuesday School session to discover more about our program.

Tuesday School themes for the last few years have included: “Unity with Diversity”, “Peace”, “Acceptance”, “Acts of Lovingkindness”, “Gratitude” and “Coexist”. This year we will be exploring the theme of “Stories of Faith - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”.  The stories and curriculum we study are based around each theme. Each curriculum is designed to enhance learning at appropriate developmental levels. The students are divided into grade level classes, each with an individual teacher; however, whole group stories are told by Gregg Anderson at the beginning of each meeting day. A community service component is also an integral part of the Tuesday School Program.

The Aspen Chapel Kids join our friends from the Jewish Congregation each year for a fall mitzvah project.
