The Children’s Service includes participation of the Aspen Chapel Tuesday School students, and is targeted to kids of all ages.
Please note: Our mission is to welcome everyone into the Holiday Services. However, the Chapel becomes quite full – your prompt or early arrival is recommended!
Easter
8:30 am ( Top of Aspen Mountain)
10:30 am (Aspen Chapel)
The Aspen Chapel offers two Sunday morning services on Easter. For 2011, the 8:30am mountainside service will be held at the top of Aspen Mountain. The service will be led by Rev. Dr. Gregg Anderson and music will be performed by many coveted local musicians. Weather permitting, the service will take place outside, in a sun-filled bowl located southeast of the Sundeack Restaurant. In case of cold, wind and snowy weather, the service will be moved into the Sundeck Restaurant. (Breakfast will be offered before and after the service.) The service includes a spirited message and music that celebrates the joy of this special day. Everyone is Welcome! Donations are appreciated.
The 10:30am service will be held inside the Chapel, one hour later than our usual Sunday Service, in order to accommodate the mountainside service. The service will be led by Rev. Dr. Gregg Anderson and music will be provided by Susan Nicholson and the Aspen Chapel Choir. It will include a special Easter message and favorite hymns. Sunday School and Nursery will be available. A reception in the Chapel Gallery will follow the service. The Aspen Chapel is located at the Roundabout at Castle Creek and Hwy 82. 0077Meadowood Drive, Aspen, CO 81611. 970-925-8174. email: .
Again, all are welcome to participate!
