Artist Reception, Wednesday, October 17th
ASPEN CHAPEL GALLERY OPENS PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ASPEN ANIMAL SHELTER
MAN’S BEST FRIEND will open at the Aspen Chapel Gallery, Wednesday, October 17, with a reception for the artists from 5 to 7 pm. It will run through November 25. Participating artists include: Dan Bayer, Ted Bristol, Annie Hosier, Klaus Kocher, Heather Lafferty, Brenda Manes, Summers Moore, Bland Nesbit, Bryna Patterson and Karen Sanders. Summers Moore curated the show. This is the 207th consecutive exhibition since the Gallery opened 33 years ago.
The Gallery is partnering with the Aspen Animal Shelter. Part of the costs of the show have been underwritten by Ellen Roeser and an anonymous sponsor. A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Aspen Animal Shelter
Summers Moore, curator, said, “. It has been so fun to find photographers who like to take photos of pets, theirs and others. There are a wide variety of styles, and lots of humorous shots. We will have some visiting 4 legged friends from the Animal Shelter. Please join us for our opening reception and support the artists, the Aspen Animal Shelter, and the Aspen Chapel Gallery.”
