Vipassana (Insight) Meditation is the oldest of the Buddhist meditation practices and comes directly from the Buddha's discourses on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness (Satipatthana Sutta).

The practice of Vipassana is a direct and gradual cultivation of mindfulness or awareness of exactly what is happening as it happens.  Practitioners attend to their direct experience of breath, sensations, feelings, and thoughts as the means to see their life experience more clearly.

Through Practice We:

  • Cultivate Awareness
  • Reduce Stress
  • Transform reactivity into wise response
  • Recognize habitual thoughts and mind states and learn how to not react from them
  • Develop compassion toward ourselves and  kindness toward all beings
