What is Shamanism
Shamanism is the belief that everything in life has a unique energy, a perspective that all are connected. The physical world brings much joy, as well as many challenges that affect us individually and collectively. Shamanic Journeying is a spiritual technique, used around the world since ancient times that uses percussive sound (ie. didgeridoo, drum, crystal bowls, bowstrings), to access the theta state, to awaken intuition, reduce stress, increase creativity, and enhance learning. It is a way to connect to your Spiritual Helpers for guidance, reconnecting you to your “godspark,” your True Self, and restore personal power to engage more fully in life. Many have shared that after a shamanic journey they feel “back home,” and “whole,” and “more alive.”
Bring a few blankets or a sleeping bag to lie on floor.
Bring a drum or rattle, and an eye pillow if you have one.
Wear comfortable layers, bring water, snacks, pen/pencil, and journal.
