Contemplative Work
at the Aspen Chapel and Beyond
The contemplative programs at the Aspen Chapel are moderated by Heather Vesey.
Heather is a graduate of Richard Rohr's Living School, and a facilitator at "Wisdom Waypoints" http://www.wisdomwaypoints.org , and she leads services with her husband Nicholas at the Aspen Chapel.
Programs available currently:
Wisdom Mentoring
Once again Heather Vesey is teaming up with Bill Redfield to deliver a program between now and Christmas, looking in to the nature of the one-on-one discipline and dynamic of “Wisdom Mentoring”, that is the focus of much of Heather’s work.
The program will run between September 18- December 18, and involves a weekly audio recording of 30-40 minutes, that you can listen to in your own time. Through this program there are opportunities for connecting with the wider wisdom community.
Bill and Heather will be drawing on the lives and writings of poet Rainer Maria Rilke and the young Etty Hillesum who died in Auschwitz, to unpack some of the inherent dynamics of living with and for each other. Exploring how it’s in relationship, in community, that we truly grow in to our fuller selves. This program is by donation.

Heather's Monday Morning Meditation
Heather will also be starting a weekly morning zoom meditation - every Monday at 8am from September 26th.
This will be an opportunity to come together in community, to start off the week giving ourselves to our practice, to the Love that underpins everything.
Heather will draw from and refer to her own practice of centering prayer, that is rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition. But all are welcome.
Come and do your practice - with each other! Zoom link:
